The Essex Bay Sailing Club a Non-profit club founded in 2000 reaches out to teach sailing to youngsters in the area surrounding Essex Bay. The goal of the club is to develop sailors who enjoy a strong knowlege of sailing while also learning to appreciate, and protect the beautiful resources of the Essex River.

North Shore Sports Performance Institute invites preschool and kindergarten aged children to enroll in FunStart Soccer. The program is an introduction to soccer and the focus will be on fun and developing confidence. Each session will include drills and challenges and individual success.
MAC Aquatics Swim Clinics are designed to teach children between ages 3-13 to enjoy the sport of swimming for a lifetime! Each individual is evaluated at the beginning of every clinic session and placed with swimmers of similar abilities. Summer at Brookwood is a coeducational summer camp for students entering Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Nine. Discovery Adventures' Summer Children's Program encourages children ages 8-15 to explore Cape Ann's incredible surroundings by kayak and dive into learning about the local marine life through snorkeling. They will learn and practice all of the safety skills involved with these sports while they enjoy being on the water with friends. This is an incredible way for them to experience the ocean.
The Manchester Sailing Association offers sailing lessons for children and adults of all ability levels. MSA is a community sailing program open to both residents and non-residents of Manchester. The program takes place at scenic Tuck's Point and on the docks of the Manchester Yacht Club, with easy access to the Manchester Harbor and surrounding waters.
Gloucester Stage Youth Acting Workshops starts the Summer Session of Acting Workshops for children ages 6 to 18 on Friday, July 8. The six week Youth Acting Workshop Summer Session, meets on Fridays for two hours per week from July 8 through August 12 and the students are divided in classes according to age.
