MPL: Maker Camp

Welcome to Maker Camp at Manchester Library

If you’re a kid who loves to tinker, then Maker Camp is made for you. Hosted digitally by Maker Media, Maker Camp is a virtual and physical summer camp to encourage kids to build.

Drop in to the Manchester Public Library Children’s Room to get inspired by the tutorial videos, improvise on one of the craft plans, or invent something totally original!

When: 
All day every Thursday from July 6 to August 14.

"Celebrating locally grown art, music, and food" in downtown Manchester-by-the-Sea, this all day event will highlight not only the idyllic beauty of Cape Ann but also the incredible talent for which the area has become synonymous. Featuring local talent including musical and artistic performers alike, visitors will enjoy music, art, food, and good times while taking in the sights of Masconomo Park. This family-friendly festival will feature free fun and excitement for all ages all day long! Mark your calendar and pack your blanket for a day of great music, inspired artistry and delicious, locally grown foods!

Experiment with a recipe or two and bring your best dish from the book into our Taster's Choice event on Saturday, June 27th, at 3 PM.

The Manchester Historical Museum will be offering a program focused on needlepoint for children 3 and up. Did you know that it was not just women but that men also sewed?
