Lowell WinterFest 2013
The Lowell Winterfest is a two day festival held annually in February in downtown Lowell and is attended by thousands of people each year.
Winterfest participants enjoy a wide range of events including the North Soup Bowl Competition; face painting and magic shows; ice skating, child-favorite, Lowla Bear Kids' Party with live DJ; Mittens, Market & Museum Madness; "Meeting of the Minds" Trivia Challenge and the most popular Winterfest events, the Human Dog Sled Competition. The competition consists of several six-person teams dressed in wacky costumes. Each team competes for titles of “Top Dog” and “Best Costume,” with cash prizes awarded to the winning teams.
The Winterfest will conclude with a light and laser show grand finale. Attending Lowell Winterfest is a great way to celebrate the cold weather and snow that is traditional in a New England winter.
Check the Lowell Winterfest Website for schedule and location of events.
